HOOD DANDY

KATIUSCIA GREGOIRE WILLIAMS

Hood Dandy is the thesis collection by Parsons alum Katiuscia Gregoire Williams inspired by the identity politics of the Black male in the U.S. Ángel and Katiuscia developed the imagery for this collection through selective casting, location scouting and styling to accurately represent Williams’ work and the statement that “Blackness is a multiplicity”. The lookbook was featured in VOGUE.com and showcased with Google Arts & Culture for their Fashion and Race: The Intersection of Race and the Gaze in Fashion Photography exhibition.
